I know that I have a brownie addiction, it is safe to say that they are my all time favourite type of cake -ever! So today i thought that i would try and make this fave treat not quite so calorific and make them with beetroot – controversial! Anyway, they were easy to make and i would say that the main thing to remember when making them is not to use the cooked beetroot in vinegar! I added white chocolate chunks to mine and the result was a moist squidy brownie that is lighter than usual but still gives you the chocolate brownie hit. Oh and I made them with spelt flour so they are wheat free.
